Tracks

There are two tracks available to ride and race on.  A 50cc mini track designed for 50cc/65cc mini riders and a full size outdoor motocross style track.

Classes Structure

Classes

  • Beginner Open
    • A beginner is typically someone who has good control of the basic operations of the bike such as braking, turning and acceleration but has limited experience racing on a motocross track.  Beginners typically do not execute the majority of obstacles.  A rider would typically never spend more than one season in their class.
  • Junior Open
    • Junior riders have mastered the basic operations of the bike and are starting to gain experience in increasing speed over most obstacles on the track.  Junior riders can take one to several years before having the speed to move to intermediate.
  • Intermediate  Open
    • Intermediate riders are typically faster than juniors but are not the fastest guys on the track.  This is a stepping stone between Junior and Pro.  The MDRA does not currently run a Pro Class.
  • Vet Junior Open
    • Over 30 years old.  Junior and beginner riders can race this class.
  • Vet Master Open
    • Over 30 years old.   Riders from Intermediate and Pro can race this class.
  • 50cc beginner (50 track)
    • Meant for less experienced 50cc riders who are not ready for racing on the main track.
  • 50cc Open (Main Track)
    • Intended for more experienced, faster, 50cc riders who are ready to take on the main track. (Track will be modified to reduce length of laps)
  • 65cc
