We provide a safe and fun place to practice, ride and race motocross. Home to a 50cc track for little rippers and a full size outdoor motocross track for all skill levels from beginner to Pro level riders.
Host local motocross race series and Alberta Provincial Rounds where riders of all levels can compete in true outdoor motocross racing.

Starting Sunday May 24 we will be selling yearly memberships.

What you need to do to ride:
Number of day passes purchased will be tracked. Once 12 single rider passes or 10 family are sold no further payments are required. Single riders will have paid 240 vs the 250 for a yearly membership. Families will have paid $400. Waivers will need to be signed.
Memberships will not be sold in the event things change and the track has to close so we will not have to reimburse folks. When and if restrictions are lifted membership costs will be reduced. Previous Day Pass purchases will also go toward membership. Hope that makes sense!
Thanks and see you at the
2020 MDRA operations during current Covid-19 Health Orders
Since the Alberta Government announced its plan to start to relax some of the Covid-19 restrictions in early May, the club has decided to come up with a plan to open while adhering to the orders.
This can not be a normal opening and will not be a normal season as it stands now. All races have been cancelled. The situation is what it is and we are not in control of certain aspects of it. It may not be what you like but let’s face it none of us are happy with it.
We ask that you are patient and reasonable and that you do not continually remind the board and its volunteers of how you think things should be going. You may not have all the information.
As of last Wednesday, the first track walk was completed by the board. We are sorry we did not get out earlier, but our board members face the same challenges as many of Fort McMurray’s residents of late. We make no apologies. Turns out the track is not ready anyway so no lost time.
The track had a couple downed trees that have since been removed and some water drained off of it. There are a some spots still too soft for equipment. As the frost is coming out they are only going to get worse. Not your normal mud holes. Only the sun and time will dry them up. The 50 track had a lot of standing water that was now been pumped out and is starting to dry up, but that will take a few more days as well. With the unseasonal spring we have had and the slower melt and extra dump of snow we are a just a week or so behind last year.
The below plan is how the MDRA will open for riding and will ensure we are complying to the orders from the government. These are not up for debate. If you are not happy send a message to the Health Minister or the coronavirus virus.
The updated waiver form and rules have been completed and will be posted on the website soon. We will announce more in the coming days.
As a volunteer board we do this for the love of the sport and people involved. We have limited time, budget and resources during a time of world economic uncertainty and a pandemic topped off with floods. Focus on the good and that we will soon have a track to ride. Perfection is not an option right now!!!!!!!!!
Yearly memberships are currently on hold. Day passes will be used at this time. In the future we may be able to open as normal but that will be assessed going forward.
We will not allow unsupervised access to the track under the current orders. We will ensure, as a board, we are in place to monitor the rules as detailed.
Passes will be $20 per rider or $ 40 per family with 2 or more riders. Forms must be downloaded, printed from the the MDRAMX.COM website, filled out and signed prior to arriving at the track. All signatures and complete information are required. This will limit the interaction between the public and the board members or representative at the gate.
Cash only, to be dropped into drop box along with signed waiver forms. This protects all of us, the board, and its volunteers.
Failure to follow rules will result in being removed from the facility. We will not put the club, members or board at risk.
Track will open up on scheduled days and times only. Period! The schedule is being developed and will align with board members and volunteers availability to be at the track to monitor. Period!
Stay tuned for more on the schedule in the coming days.
In a time when some clubs are remaining closed and race seasons are being canceled, which is completely understandable, we will push for an opening and continue to follow government orders.
The MDRA has suspended membership sales at this time.
As of March 27 all May races have been cancelled in response to the Alberta government limiting event sizes to 15 people max. Further changes to the 2020 schedule will be communicated as things progress.
We continue to monitor the situation and will do what is right to protect the safety of our riders and the club.
Stay tuned for updates and changes. Stay safe moto family!
