The three major rules to riding the track are as follows:
1. Riding in the pits must be done at the slowest speed possible. This means 1st gear, not 4th.
2. Always wear a helmet, no matter how short the ride.
3. Always do a sighting lap when you arrive to the track. People have died because of assumptions made about a track they had been to hundreds of times before. A sighting lap will ensure that there are no washouts, parked equipment, altered jumps, etc.
 
There exist more rules than the ones listed above, and these are posted at the track. They will eventually be posted here as well.
